Two heads are better than one
Algeria's government takes place in a framework of a constitutional presidential republic where the President of Algeria is head of state and he appoints the Prime Minister of Algeria which is the head of government. Executive power is exercised by the government but the Prime Minister still follows orders from the President. Aside from the two executive positions mentioned, one of the great factos that affect Algeria's government are several lists of political parties being elected every year.
